Getting started

Docs · getting started

Three minutes, five steps. Sign up, pick a plan, and the feed opens tuned to you. The goal of setup is a feed that only shows you what you'd want to know first.

  1. 01

    Create an account

Sign up with an email address, pick Capture or Terminal and you're in. Billing is self-serve; cancel any time. A short onboarding asks what you follow so the feed opens already tuned instead of raw.

  2. 02

    Read the record

Both plans search every company, public or private. On Capture the product is the record itself: any federal contractor's awards, agency mix, vehicles and recompetes, plus the events browsers (FDA, M&A, regulatory, grants, subawards, sanctions) and departments research. Terminal adds the scored feed on top: every signal with horizon performance, what comparable past signals actually did over 7/20/60/90 trading days.

  3. 03

    Build your watchlist

Watch the targets you actually follow: companies by name or UEI, specific contracts, or events (up to 50 slots on Capture, 500 on Terminal). The watchlist is what the daily brief and alerts key on; Arcthane never notifies you about a target you didn't ask about.

  4. 04

    Turn on alerts

Email and push alerts fire when something meaningful lands on a watchlisted target: read the moment it publishes, not when the news cycle finds it. The weekly digest sweeps up everything below the alert threshold.

  5. 05

    Log your positions (optional)

Portfolio tracking is manual and stays that way; we never connect to a broker. Log a position and Arcthane scores it continuously, alerting you when the historical edge behind your entry has faded.
